My newest Puppy Pals - Canine Companions for Independence

Graduation season kicked off a little early this year, with arguably the cutest graduates in town!  Canine Companions for Independence® is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.  We are fortunate to have one of CCI's six training centers here in San Diego County, nestled in the hills of Oceanside.

The assistance dogs Canine Companions for Independence breed, raise and train aren’t just the ears, hands and legs of their human partners. They’re also goodwill ambassadors and often, their best friends. They open up new opportunities and new possibilities, and spread incredible joy. CCI unites people with dogs in a powerful program that leads to greater independence and confidence. I look forward to meeting the next set of puppies and their raisers at the May graduation!  In the mean time, meet some of the CCI Winter Class of 2018!
